INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR CHILDREN'S BOOKS
Since the 2nd of April 1967, the birthday of the children's story writer Hans Christian Andersen, the International Children's Book Day has been celebrated, with the aim of promoting a taste for reading and highlighting the fundamental role of books in childhood.
In this sense, we must instill, from an early age, reading habits in children, thus contributing to the development of their cognitive, personal and social capacities.
“A book is a toy made with letters. Reading is playing. ”
