Every year on March 1, the Day of Civil Protection is marked, an ephemeris instituted worldwide by the International Civil Protection Organization (OIPC) and nationally by order of the Minister of Internal Administration.
In order to mark this date, the Hon. Mr. President of Porto Santo, Idalino Vasconcelos, while the Municipal Civil Protection Authority, paid a visit to the premises of the local Security, Military and Protection and Relief Forces, to present his compliments, thanking him in a simple and direct way. work for the safety and protection of our population, with due personal and institutional recognition.
The visit included a visit to the Chapas Florestal Post (IFCN - Forest Police), RG3 Security Detachment (Army), Porto Santo Voluntary Fire Station, Portuguese Air Force (AM3), GNR Territorial Post, Porto Santo Captaincy and Maritime Police, and the PSP Police Station.
The President was accompanied by the Vice-President and the Municipal Civil Protection Coordinator.
