Earth Hour 2021
Earth Hour - Everything ready for the biggest global movement against climate change?
Earth Hour is a global action in defense of the Planet, which unites millions of people around the world to show their commitment to the planet. This WWF initiative was born in 2007 in Sydney, Australia, when 2.2 million people and more than 2,000 companies turned off the lights for an hour in a stand against climate change. The Municipality of Porto Santo will also, once again, join this important cause.
Year after year, Earth Hour has grown to become a global sustainability movement with more than 3.5 billion people in 190 countries and territories showing their support for this cause by symbolically turning off their lights.
Year after year, on the last Saturday in March, houses, streets, buildings and monuments turn off their lights at Earth Hour, creating an impact impossible to ignore.
This year, we will create that impact on the digital world through Earth Hour’s first “virtual searchlight”.
How are we going to do it? It's very simple, but we need your help!
On March 27, at 8:30 pm, we will publish an exclusive video from Earth Hour 2021 on ANP | WWF's social networks (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).
Light a candle and promote on social networks, this way we will create a giant wave in defense of our Planet!
Your role, participate and help in this cause!
