Saxifraga portosanctana

Endemic species exclusive to Porto Santo. There are 6 populations, possibly threatened by plant harvesting, erosion, landslides and competition with exotic species. It is classified as Vulnerable by the IUCN and is protected by the Habitats Directive – Annex IV and the Berne Convention.
