Lotus loweanus
Cabeleira-de-coquinho, an endemic plant unique to Porto Santo. It occurs all over the island, in dunes, coastal cliffs and rocky slopes up to 150m in altitude. It is very similar to Trevina, differing from it by the color of its flower, purple. It is one of the plants to be used in the LIFE DUNAS project.
