On the 8th of October, two educational activities took place at the Jardim Literário as part of the Colombo 2021 Festival, promoted by the Educational Service of the Regional Archive and Public Library of Madeira (ABM), with the collaboration of the Municipal Library of Porto Santo.

- Workshop: The Whale

Based on the work “The Whale”, by Benji Davies, pre-school students at the School of Nossa Senhora da Conceição – Externato enjoyed a short story time session, followed by the construction of "aquariums".

- My Council…Porto Santo: Genealogy and Family History

This activity was aimed at students from the Senior University of Porto Santo and was dedicated to the history of families, starting from an archive document with references to the family tree of Cristina Dias, a slave from Porto Santo, followed by the representation of a play theater and construction of family trees.
