We invite you to attend the webinar “For a healthy ocean: responsible fisheries and less pollution”, on May 31, from 11.15 am to 12.15 pm, live on ANP | WWF's YouTube.
We will bring different voices to this conversation to discuss the future of a healthy Atlantic Ocean and how we can strengthen the links between environmental protection, sustainable fishing and people's well-being.

The event will have a welcome reflection on the last year of the pandemic and what this time represented for the Oceans by Catarina Grilo, Director of Conservation and Policies at ANP | WWF. We will also share the vision of the Oceano Azul Foundation for a Global Agenda for the Oceans, in the words of Emanuel Gonçalves, of the Board of Directors of the same foundation. Finally, we will have a video by the Minister of the Sea, Ricardo Serrão Santos, on the Government's Vision for this Agenda for the Oceans.
Then there will be a debate with the theme “Together for Healthy Oceans”, moderated by Rita Sá, coordinator of Oceans and Fisheries at ANP | WWF. They accepted the invitation to this Round Table Acácio Grandela, fisherman involved in the creation of the co-management committee for the collection of barnacles from the Berlengas Nature Reserve, Elmar Derkitsch, Director-General of the Marriott Hotel, Miguel Correia, CCMar researcher who has studied the horses in Portugal, and Sofia Santos, Councilor for the Environment of the CM of Porto Santo.
